Sunday
School
We are a
joyful Sunday School that encourages children to be as God wants them
to be. At our Sunday School, we work to help children understand about
God and about Unity. We believe that children need expressive activities
to help them grow. Although Unity Curriculums are a basis for our lessons,
the lessons are expanded through other activities. We also use storytelling
and artistic activities to help the children understand their lessons.
We help the children internalize the affirmations by presenting some
of them in English Sign language.
Our spacious
Sunday School is full of craft materials and many loving people to help
the children. We work as one loving community. Although we have children
of many ages, all of our children work as one family. Together we form
a family of friends who assist each other in building relationships,
friendships, and self-esteem. We particularly express the joy of the
Lord through the children. On most Sundays, our lead teacher, Marna
Rossi, presents the lessons to provide continuity for the children.
Sunday School
is at 11 AM, the same time as our Sunday Church Service.
